I'd just like to say that I've been following your work for quite some time -- years, in fact -- and this is one of my favorite works of yours. I've just been forced to buy a new monitor, and as such have upgraded from a 1280x1024 19" CRT to a 1600x1200 21.3" LCD -- so I've been sifting through the 'net, finding larger versions of all of my wallpapers. In doing so I found that you had a DeviantArt page (of which I was unaware previously), so I'd hereby like to give you your due "props." This seems like a macro shot done very well, but the "effects" that you've added to the sides really make the image stand out. Frankly, I would love to know how to do stuff like that. I'm impressed and awed.

I'm surprised as well by the lack of comments on this. Maybe it's because you reuploaded it so all the comments were on the old version... who knows. It's great. I seriously think this is my favorite wallpaper of all time. Everything about it is wonderful. I love the blue monotone, the focus, texture, angle of the lines and the little extra text and swirls at the edges. I just love it all. It makes a nice wallpaper because it's interesting without being overly complicated or distracting. And it's not like a picture of someone's face (that can get boring). So anyway, I love it +fav
