Revisiting this, I've been wondering, have you done any additional 3D models for this piece? And if to point out - I'm curious about all the effects. Is it just only 2D photoshop manipulation mastery?

Hey man. All the 3d was done by Justin Maller. I simply took his render, tore it apart then added my flare to it! :)

Yes, I have seen the competition entries, but wanted to ask you specifically about the changes: whether they involved any additional 3d renders or stock photos than the provided original image? Is it still just good old 2d photoshop wizardry? This time it really feels more dimensional than, for example, the "Bunker" :)

No the only 3D was the source material that Justin made. I did everything in Photoshop from those, no additional stock or anything was used. Just basic Photoshop tools and the 3D render.

Bunker was sourced from 2D photographs I took which is why it might appear a little more flat than this. ;)

I love the fact that you centered the focal point, it's really well done over all! :iconbugplz:
