Bobombby `precurser

Artisan Crafts / Culinary Arts / Pumpkin Carving

This is my first pumpkin for this year. Obviously, he is the Bobomb from the Super Mario Bros series.

His main body is a black spray painted pumpkin with eyes cut out. The feet were cut from an egg shaped piece of styrofoam, the windup key in the back and the round ring around the top by the fuse/stem were freehand cut from styrofoam and spray painted silver/yellow.

Everything is held in place with toothpicks.

DUDE, I saw it on Joystiq! I was so sure your pumpkin would be a finalist... I liked it the best! I'm very happy to see it here with the steps and components listed. It inspired me to make a Mickey pumpkin in a somewhat similar fashion.
